Four D.C. Men Arrested After Police Chase Leads to Two Crashes in Frederick County

NEW MARKET, Md. — Early Sunday morning, four men from Washington, D.C. crashed while fleeing from police in a stolen vehicle, injuring a Frederick County deputy in the process.

Around 3:30 a.m. on May 25, a deputy responded to a report of suspicious activity involving people tampering with cars near Jordan Boulevard. When the deputy approached, the suspects fled in two separate vehicles, sparking a chase.

One of the vehicles — a stolen 2017 Subaru Outback from Carroll County — veered off Mussetter Road and hit a tree. The deputy pursuing that car also crashed and sustained minor injuries. He was taken to Frederick Health Hospital for evaluation.

The second vehicle, a 2012 Toyota Camry, spun out of control and crashed into a parked patrol car with its emergency lights activated. Fortunately, the deputy had just stepped out of the vehicle and was unharmed.

Following both crashes, the suspects were located and arrested with assistance from Maryland State Police, as well as officers from Frederick County, Montgomery County, and Carroll County.

The individuals arrested are:

  • Deangelo Dubose, 18 – Charged with motor vehicle theft, property destruction, resisting arrest, obstruction, and 12 traffic offenses.

  • Zaire Graves, 18 – Faces similar charges, including second-degree assault and 14 traffic violations.

  • Dayneil Bullock, 21 – Charged with vehicle theft, resisting arrest, obstruction, and one traffic offense.

  • Darin Comer, 18 – Also charged with vehicle theft, resisting arrest, obstruction, and a traffic citation.

The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office at 301-600-1046.
