Prince George’s Co. Teacher Could Face Life in Prison for Allegedly Sexually Abusing Former Student

A Prince George’s Region, Maryland, instructor charged of sexually abusing a graduate was arraigned by a government grand jury for coercion and enticement of a youngster.

Mark Edward Cobb, 44, a former educator at Cooper Lane Grade School in Landover Hills, Maryland, encounters an optimum fine of life behind bars, according to a Wednesday news release from prosecutors.

The federal grand court returned the charge on Sept. 26.

Cobb traded sms message with a nine-year-old girl, that was a graduate, from roughly Jun. 19 with Jun. 25, according to the charge.

He allegedly requested and received several specific images from the girl.

When he was apprehended in August, Cobb told cops the girl did send him raunchy pictures which “he wanted to see how far she would certainly go,” according to charging papers.

Federal district attorneys stated throughout a search of Cobb’s home they discovered extra videos of various other kids and a bag with a number of sets of kids’s underwear in it.

If convicted, Cobb encounters a minimum sentence of 10 years in federal prison and approximately life in government jail for coercion and temptation of a kid and a maximum of ten years in government prison for property of youngster pornography.
